Hello valued reader, and welcome to my blog! My name is Cody Montana, and I’m a real person!

Just as a disclaimer, I don’t say that because I am a robot (although that would be cool). I’m saying that because this is a weight training blog, and I’m a real person, not a professional athlete. Being the real person that I am, my goal is to give you real-world advice from a real-individual (again, not a robot *beep*) to give you the best odds of success!

To give you a little backstory, I work a 9-to-5 job and have been officially weight lifting/training for several years now. I decided as a New Years resolution, as cliche and 80’s movies as that sounds, to better my health and train for a better life. Never being the jock in high school, or even strong for that matter, it became truly difficult to learn how to train the right way. After 6 months of just running on a treadmill, I finally put my nose to the grind stone and used every resource I had to gain knowledge on how to lift and train the right way! Since then, I have had to learn everything through books, professional peers, and good old fashioned hard work; but that helped me to get to where I am today!

So now, I’m compiling all my experience and knowledge, whether it be from books or mentors or training, into this blog to better help others.
